In the beginning, an ancient accord was struck between the emerging, talented Astral, Myke, and the shrewd Accordant, Tristan, which makes their tales inseparable and necessarily joined.  The Accordant saw the Astral’s power for what it was, and approached him with a plan to see it fully realized–the Accordant promised the Astral full control over each and every Goblin.  In exchange, the Astral would only have to help the Accordant keep his soul in tact.  And so the Accordant kept his end of the bargain, and unlocked much of the Astral’s true potential.  However, it is said a demon comes to collect his due on each use of an Accordant’s power, leaving it to be discovered the ultimate price of this “bargain”.
